Failing that...

If musicals still aren't your thing, I've been listening to these two choones an awful lot. First up is Alexi Murdoch who is brilliant - this song along with many of his others features on the soundtrack of indie film Away We Go.

this is one of my all time favourite songs. it's so raw and full of emotion. I've seen Frightened Rabbit do it live and it's pretty sensational.

March is a busy month

Everything is kicking off in the midlands and while most music blogs are used to showcase new, kooky, up-and-coming bands, I have spent a lot of time listening to a certain classic musical number...I get a lot of people saying to me that they 'don't like musicals'. fact. If you are one of these people, then just take a look at this clip of the Guys and Dolls cast at the 2009 Tony Awards and I challenge you not to be smiling by the end.
