the best of the last twelve months

Tis the time of year when television, radio and bloggers alike look back at the year just passed and assess what was best and worst about it. And whilst I will continue listening to all the below, I thought I'd share my top toones with you.

one of my favourite bands and they released their third album in 2010.

this is Frightened Rabbit and 'Swim until you can't see land'

a beautiful duet from two of folk's most loved artists. they look like the perfect swedish couple.

Laura marling and Johnny flynn sing 'the water'.

I have been a fan of this chap for a while now but for the first time, i went to one of his gigs last year in Nottingham and fell in love with him all over again.
